Alexis Van Eeckhout, a self-taught musician and a student of the American Saxophonist J.R. Monterose, comes back, as hobby, with what is called a "Jazz-Fresh" (chill-out) style.
His musical experience started at a very early age in his family.
His first instrument of predilection whas the Clarinet. He played some Classical pieces o f music with his father who was a professional Classical Composer, Organist, and Orchestra's Chief., Later, he played Tenor sax, Alto sax, Soprano sax and Traverse flute with several Belgian bands .
Since 1997, he has focused on blending his musical experiences and influences in order to create his own style. Working on his musical phrasing, melody, harmonisation and rythm as well as on a global musical ambiance for each piece.
He likes to try a new musical approach with proposing new ways in harmonical structures .
These pieces have been composed, performed ( Tenor-sax, Keyboards, Synth ) programmed ( Alto Sax vsti, Trumpet vsti, Pan Pipes flute vsti, Fula flute vsti, Traverse flute vsti, Bandoneon vsti, Acoustic piano vsti, Fender piano vsti, Vibraphone vsti, Hammond organ vsti, Guitars vsti, Violins vsti, Bass vsti, Double-Bass vsti, Drums vsti, Percussions vsti ) and recorded, mixed, mastered by Alexis Van Eeckhout himself .
Truly, a music well suited for dream and evasion...

What is this marvelous sound,Alexis???
What is this beyond this planet tune???
Is like a Sirius after the flame era! :)
I'm always quiet my body and tense my heart, when listening to your tunes, cos' i know i'm about to experience something unusual and something that will rediscover some hidden horizons in my soul.
This one showed the exact state of my today's life with a look to my very own past.
I take it it too personal with my comments, but isn't that a pure gift from Alexis????

Love the Cow intro!!
the sax work hits ya right away with lots of emotion. this song has some amazing arrangement work and when the sax comes back in it hits ya again in the same spot. Great work on the sax and overall this is a really compelling tune. I really love the cow in there. Only you would come up with that.

Thank you Alexis for alerting me to your new track.
I have never been a big fan of Jazz but there are certain tunes that I will never get tired of listening to ... and this is one of them. You deserve all of the accolades from both fans like myself and also your peers. I must admit that the more I listen to the great Jazz artists here on Soundclick the more I am being drawn to loving Jazz, especially Nu-Jazz. I particularly like the bass in this track, but the highlight for me has got to be your wonderfully expressive Tenor Sax.

The 5 stars for the vocals are for the cow, I couldn't give 5 stars for lyrics cause the MOO'S don't rhyme.
Otherwise this is an impressive, atmospheric tune played with great style, passion, and precision.

Already generating 12 reviews? Man you are hot!
I know I've said this before so many times, but you really know how to 'sing' with your amazing sax! Always amazing. Fun percs make a great contrast to the quiet melody.
I love the MOO opening. :-)

Yet another incredibly complex and well done jazz fresh tune! The arrangement is unpredictable and the tones a delight. Your time signatures are bewildering to me. The whole piece is well composed and excellently produced...but my favorite part is still your awesome sensual sax playing. You da man, Alexis!
